Treehouse Neptune: Simplifying Business Travel in Panjim
With luck on my side, I was able to see Panjim’s terraced hills, Portuguese structures, large churches, and the riverfront promenade dotted with acacia and Gulmohar trees while staying at the strategically situated Treehouse Neptune.
Panaji, often known as Panjim, is a planned city in Goa that serves as the state capital. Despite the fact that Panjim is largely frequented by business travellers, it retains its touristic appeal due to the beaches, churches, and natural beauty that surrounds it. With the addition of some lovely Portuguese Baroque-style structures and the revelry of a carnival, this Goa focal point transforms into an unrivalled celebratory mood that equals the finest of conventional Western holiday celebrations. Furthermore, Goa’s Indo-Portuguese capital is the only part of the state with stepped streets and a lengthy promenade with some of the state’s major Casino cruises.
Everything is within walking distance! I would not have had the opportunity to explore this seaside hilltop the way I did if it hadn’t been for the Treehouse Neptune’s “smart placement.” Take a look at this. The business and leisure hotel Treehouse Neptune greets you with an ivory exterior with hanging balconies, only a short walk from Panjim church and Jardim Garcia de Orta Garden. Treehouse Neptune is unquestionably one of the greatest hotels in the area, and you’ll enjoy it even more if you appreciate consistently excellent service.
The staff here is exceedingly kind and pleasant, as was the case at all of the Treehouse hotels in Goa. The all-day Cafe at Treehouse Neptune in Panjim, which effortlessly changes into a multifunctional hall, also serves world-class cuisine to its visitors. The customers appreciate this coffee shop because it uses repurposed furniture that is designed to meet the demands of modern travellers.

Treehouse Neptune Suite 214

The air-conditioned suite features a king-size bed that opens to spacious seating, further leading to a grill-fenced balcony with views of the famed Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. The fact that the glass doors are soundproof ensures that you have plenty of natural light and air ventilation while blocking out all unwanted noises.

I love the restful interiors and the up-cycled furniture which adds character and makes being here a pleasure. Signature Massage at Tatva Salon & Spa
A massage therapy session was much-needed after a day of touring and travelling around North and Central Goa! Treehouse Hotels treated me to a Signature Treehouse Massage at Tatva Salon & Spa, which began at 6 p.m. and lasted over an hour and a half. Because it contains unique stretching methods that are enormously beneficial to the ‘actual’ therapy, I suggest this signature body massage to any business or leisure traveller. Stretching before a massage aids in muscular relaxation and circulation.
Daisy, my day’s therapist, was no less of a ninja when it came to using obscure but quite efficient stretching techniques. Daisy explained how combining frequent massage techniques with supported stretching helps our muscles become more flexible while also allowing her to work more efficiently on the pain areas. I mean, until I received this unique massage that relieved the strain on my joints, I had no idea how constricted my shoulders and neck were.
Following 30-minutes of stretching, Daisy employed a medley of massage techniques, including Swedish, Balinese, reflexology, and trigger point, as well as a couple of Yoga postures, to assist me to improve my posture. Normally, the signature massage includes oiling, but I opted for aromatherapy instead and told Daisy to use creams. I felt as light as a feather, and it was a heavenly sensation. To comprehend what it does to your body, you must experience this yourself.
Dining at Treehouse Neptune
The in-house multi-cuisine restaurant at Treehouse Neptune offers a large menu, but I opted to have french fries and Chicken Tawa Fry for lunch because I had been eating a lot the previous two days. The french fries were served hot and crispy and had an excellent texture. Tawa fried chicken has its qualities, encrusted with a spicy tone, and would be much better if it were boneless. Loved its spicy flavour though! The breakfast, next morning was amazing! I ordered an omelette and an espresso, and the staff was kind enough to send me a cut fruit platter along.
Things To Do Near Treehouse Neptune
The central positioning of Treehouse Neptune is one of its strongest assets. It’s close to everything in Panjim that one could want to see. Even though I was only at this property for a day, I was able to tour many of the nearby squares, beginning with the Global to Local store. Take a look!
Panjim Church
The 15th-century Panjim Church, also known as the “Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church,” is a 5-minute walk from Treehouse Neptune and is one of the neighbourhood’s most popular attractions. In Portuguese, it is known as Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Imaculada Conceiço. Having been built in 1541 as a chapel, this colonial Baroque style Portuguese church on a hilltop overlooks Panjim in all its splendour. What was once a chapel serving the religious requirements of Portuguese seafarers is today one of Goa’s most well-known attractions.
Tourists come to see the church’s antique bell (the second-largest in Goa), which was excavated from the Augustinian remains of the Nossa Senhora da Graça in Old Goa. In 1600, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church became a parish, and the zigzag stairways were added to the modest chapel in the 18th century. In 1871, the church bell was finally placed. From here, one can also see Garcia da Orta, the city’s municipal garden.
Grab Dinner at Panjim Gymkhana
When visiting Goa, you must dine at least once at Panjim Gymkhana, the state’s first athletic facility, which was founded by late Dayanand Balkrishna Bandodkar in the mid-nineteenth century. Panjim Gymkhana is known for its famed Ritz Classic restaurant, which provides some of the best vegetarian and seafood cuisines in the city, in addition to its outstanding sports facilities. We went to Panjim Gymkhana for dinner at the suggestion of Amit Rawat, the GM of Treehouse Sonnet, and it’s a great place to eat. The quality is brilliant, the ambience is great, and the service is on point. The food at this bustling restaurant is fantastic, with a bar station and artwork in the backdrop.
We ordered a Sangria pitcher, along with, signature seafood preparations such as Rawa fry marinated fish, classic mutton Xacuti and fish curry rice. Each of these Goan delights was prepared, to perfection, and the balance of spiciness to the sourness was perfect. The french fries and Poi (Goan bread) were excellent accompaniments to the courses, and this sure was one of the best meals I’ve had in Panjim so far. Furthermore, Ritz Classic attends to the smallest of details, resulting in a supremely luxurious dining experience.
Eat Goan Ros Omelette
I had never heard of Goan Ros Omelette until Namrata introduced me to it, which I now recommend to anybody visiting Goa. Ros or Ras omelette, akin to Xacuti, is a Goan speciality snack doused in a spicy sauce formed of chickpeas or chicken, spurring an example of traditional Goan Catholic cooking. I knew I couldn’t pass up the comfort of indulging in something so genuinely Goan because Sandeep Ros Omelete Centre is only a short walk from Treehouse Neptune.
Curry leaves, onions, scraped coconut, mustard seeds, and local spices are common ingredients. Most Goans also include mushrooms and cauliflower in this dish. Even with its diverse variants, the omelette consists of eggs, finely chopped chillies, coriander, and other herbs. The omelette and Ros are cooked separately, however, the waitstaff will pour hot Ros over the freshly fried omelette when serving. This classic Goan dish is served, with Poi, a type of Goan bread.
Night Walk by Panjim Promenade
Every trip to Panjim should end with a stroll down the Panjim promenade at night. River Mandovi, which is also adjacent to Treehouse Neptune, is the centre of numerous moneyed offshore casinos. Mandovi and Zuari together create an estuary system that supports Goa’s agricultural sector. A calm stroll along the river at night is one of the most gorgeous experiences in Panjim. I spent a great time meandering down the tree-lined bank, seeing the welcoming waters with well-lit casino ships and soaking up the relaxing mood of the palliative river. Nothing but a breath of fresh air!
Church of Mae de Deus
Last but not least, pay a visit to Mae de Deus, an 18th-century chapel located amidst magnificent surroundings in Saligao. It’s halfway between Anjuna and Panjim, and I happened to stop for a quick shot on my way from Treehouse Sonnet to Treehouse Neptune. The Mae de Deus, or Mother of God Church, has its own austere – a stark Neo-Gothic appeal.
The miraculous statue of the Mother of God (Mae de Deus), taken from the ruins of Old Goa, is housed in this cathedral. This dreamy cathedral, with its Gothic spires and immaculate white walls, is one of Goa’s best Gothic structures.
