The Creative Kitchen: Continental Set Menu
The Creative Kitchen is the all-day restaurant of Radisson Indore, where I took the delight to dine-at during my weekend stay at the executive suite. Beautifully decorated, this Radisson restaurant features an open dining area, a lavish buffet and an added outdoor seating. I, however, was treated to their newly launched continental set menu and here’s how it went. The dramatically inspired interiors of The Creative Kitchen boast a dark pillaring column, surrounded by refined floorings, walls painted in neutral hues and wall paintings defining the space. Paired with elegant furnishings! And the food is just as good.
As on this day, I indulged in a 3-course set menu featuring Wild Mushroom and Porcini Cappuccino, NZ Herb-crusted Lamb Rack with Truffle and Parmesan Mash and Wild Berry Philadelphia Cheese Cake with Saffron and Vanilla Sauce. Each dish, infused with Mediterranean flavours and slathered in local European ingredients.

Wild Mushroom and Porcini Cappuccino Soup
Wild mushroom and Porcini cappuccino soup is the real deal when it comes to a 3-course set menu. Loved by most chefs in western countries, this soup is a deliciously exotic and foamed soup slathered with truffle oil. The texture of the soup is that like a cup of hot steamy cappuccino with whipped cream. It tastes very different though! The truffle oil and cheese add a rich consistency to this light-textured. To enhance the taste, all you have to do is add a few extra drops of truffle oil to the soup.
NZ Lamb Rack with Truffle and Parmesan Mash
After savouring a fine 1st-course, I received another wonderful dish on the table. For the main course, I was made to taste New Zealand herb-crusted lamb rack with truffle and parmesan mash. While the lamb rack retains the original taste of the meat, the herbs, cheese and truffle ‘definitely’ add up to the heavenly flavours. It was easy to bite in, and this positively is one of the best lamb racks I have tasted in Indore by far.
Wild Berry Philadelphia Cheese Cake with Saffron
This delightful set menu meal concluded with a gorgeous dessert. Wild Berry Philadelphia Cheesecake is an exotic dessert, served with a mellow drizzle of saffron and a generous pouring of vanilla sauce. Curated by executive chef Mukul Jha, this Instagram-worthy dessert carries the authentic 18th-century character of a Philadelphia cake. In Philly, cakes exhibit an irregular texture as they are baked by spreading cheese on varying levels to make the cake taste like a curdled custard. The cheesecake is enhanced with saffron and dashes of vanilla sauce. No better way to finish a mid-day meal with a fantastic dessert such as this!
