Taj Santacruz: Junior Suite With a Runway View

Taj Hotels are known for providing unforgettable experiences. Something I only discovered after a gratifying weekend stay at the Taj Santacruz. The unrivalled vista from this Mumbai hotel is what makes it so special. While Taj is known for perfectly blending elegance and comfort, this additional feature is undoubtedly worth exploring. I mean where else in Mumbai can you watch a jet take off from the comfort of your bed?

Whoever claims money can’t buy happiness should stay here, at least one night. Having said that, I was immediately struck by the foyer, which had world-class chandeliers and a life-size aquarium when I first arrived at the facility. The entire staycation at Taj Santacruz was too great an experience, from being greeted by a galaxy of stars in broad daylight to entering into a suite where you can see jets take off.

On this particular weekend, I was staying in the Junior Suite, which is incredible, to say the least! When I initially walked into the 800 sq ft suite, the coeval self-designed glass walls made a striking impact. The Indian interiors take you back to the time of the Indian Maharajas. I think this suite is best for anyone seeking solitude or a breathtaking vacation in the centre of Mumbai.

This suite, in particular, combines traditional Indian luxury with modern refinement and subtle charm. The teak-timber interiors of this magnificent bijou are accented with rich gold and crimson pillions. A sophisticated walk-in wardrobe, a 40″ LED TV, and an en-suite twin basin washroom are among the facilities. The junior suite has a beautiful king-size bed with soft linen for a restful night’ sleep. This is also a great area to relax while watching planes take off and land at the terminals. 

While you’re doing that, you may relax and enjoy the complimentary wine that comes with your suite stay. The junior suite, on the other hand, has access to the executive lounge as well as discounted cocktail hours. If you intend on meeting business acquaintances or partners on your trip, this is an excellent facility to have on hand. You are also entitled to a complimentary breakfast, which is one of the major benefits.

This guarantees that you have a nutritious start to your day. Furthermore, the suite has plenty of walking space, which allows you to walk, regardless of how much you eat. I ate lunch at Tiqri and the whole experience was fantastic.

The open bath ended up being my favourite of all the interior features. Even more so, because the Taj Santacruz offers a special bath menu to its guests. Apart from that, I believe each of the hotel’ fourteen Suites is nothing short of opulent. The Taj Santacruz junior suite, which costs $250 a night and has spectacular views, is one of Mumbai’s swankiest. Enjoy an in-room pillow menu or a Forest Essentials bed and bath experience while you’re here. In either case, your staycation is sure to be a party.
