Get Pampered at Express Inn’s O2 Spa in Nashik
After a long and strenuous climb of 200 rock-built stairs to the Pandavleni Caves on a hilltop during my weekend stay at Express Inn, I knew I’d surely need a foot massage to recover. Luckily, the hotel had the perfect solution – O2 Spa, a luxurious spa located inside their premises, marked by a golden healing Buddha statue! O2 Spa promised to bring the same invigorating effect as oxygen to my body and true to its word, I was welcomed through a floor-to-ceiling intricate wooden door to a waiting lounge in bold orange shades and wooden components. It truly felt like I had stepped into a world of wellness!
Soon after, I was escorted, to a compact spa room, designed with a tranquil eco-environment setting. Even though the therapist didn’t understand English too well, she massaged my feet really well. For the next 30-minutes, the therapist applied the principles of foot reflexology, ridding my feet of any tiredness. She began the massage by first, applying pressure to my feet with a traditional acupressure stick, eventually releasing it with a gentle yet, firm leg massage. This Oriental massage techniques extracted every ounce of pain from my feet, making me feel very light.
The origins of Foot reflexology date back to the Egyptian Era. However, during middle-age, Asians adopted most of these massage techniques in their therapy culture. Nowadays, the Oriental foot-reflexology breaks down the tension knots by applying concentrated, pressure. Which, is why its one of my favourite treatment to get feather-light feet. Whether you are in Nashik, for a meeting or a vacation, a visit to this spa will relieve all your stress. From facials to body massage, O2 Spa has a variety of services to suit all your needs.
