Mercedes Wheeled An Art Brunch With Marriott
On a lovely Sunday afternoon, Marriott hosted a one-of-a-kind art brunch in Indore. This event was meticulously planned in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz and Jyoti Balani, a well-known expert judge in matters of taste.
The canopy party tent, adorned in floral pink, was the first thing I noticed when I arrived. There was a lovely bar beneath it brimming with cool cocktails and high-calibre mixologists like Khushnaz Raghina. The outdoor tented pub was surrounded, by affluent patrons eager to learn about their botanical drinks.
The art brunch began with live music and a layout that featured many of my paintings from behind the exquisite food counters.
Each dish prepared by Indore Marriott’s chefs set the art brunch in motion, whether it was the cheese display or the Sushi and Grill counters. From the Sushi menu, I particularly liked Salmon Uramaki, Prawns Nigiri, and the creamy-crunchy Tiger Tear Maki.
This bright brunch on a winter afternoon was enhanced by the presence of a live band, whose music perfectly set the tone. If music has the power to cure the spirit, then we saw grins and unbridled enthusiasm in a class by themselves on this day. This musically sound band provided us with lots of reasons to groove, from pop to Hindi blockbuster smashes.
The New Mercedes C Class on show, which had been transformed into a canvas for Mumbai-based artist Jai Ranjit, was, however, the greatest part of the entire event. Jai Ranjit has earned a name for his live-painting displays, which he is noted for his precision painting and kinetic graphics on luxury cars. Watching him sketch a wonderful piece of exquisite art on the new Mercedes C Class was a sheer delight.
However, no art brunch is complete until you are impressed by the intriguing culinary work. The chefs at the Indore Marriott curated a fantastic brunch menu for this exclusive art brunch, that sets inspiration for your next brunch party.
With all of this in mind, Devesh Rawat, GM of the Indore Marriott, and the Mercedes team put up a fantastic weekend brunch with a wide range of ‘outrageously’ extravagant culinary art and entertainment to round out the experience.
