Maharashtra Will Relax Travel and Rocket Hotel Occupancy
While Unlock 4.0 is unfurling, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray is all set to ease travel guidelines concerning the inter and intra-state migration of people and goods, while facilitating measures to increase occupancy goals for the hotels. The local government is said to be reopening exercises outside of the containment zones. According to reports, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will allow relaxation as he reveals his Unlock 4.0 plan today. The state’s “Mission Begin Again” programme is said to kick-off on 01st September 2020.
The newest reports suggest, that no e-passes or disparate permission will be required in the coming days for the movement of people and goods during inter or intra-state commute. Following Maharashtra’s Unlock 4.0 rules, measures will be exerted to improve hotel occupancy up to 50%. Attributing to this, a government official declared that while occupancy will be extended to 50%, only in-house guests will be able to experience dining facilities. Resolutions on admitting non-resident guests for dining will be driven at a later stage. A verdict on reopening restaurants will be reconsidered soon, although its timeframe has not been established yet.
Despite the concerns regarding the rise in coronavirus cases, the Chief Minister is enthusiastic to confer more relaxations to ease people’s distress. He affirmed maximum relaxations, despite the increasing number of coronavirus cases. Apart from this, the local trains, considered Mumbai’s lifeline, are also to be revived to aid local travel.
