Hotel Fairway Sunset: A Nice Sea View Hotel in Galle
Hotel Fairway Sunset is one of the most exquisite 3-star properties in Galle. Fairway Sunset, a superb hotel located on Matara Road in Galle, offers some of Sri Lanka’s best sunsets and exceptional sea views of the Southern Coast. This new hotel on the Southern coast not only offers unrivalled convenience in terms of location and accessibility but also stunning rooms and delicious dining options. Each of Fairway Sunset’s 65 rooms combines contemporary luxury with a world of contrasting influences.
This service-oriented hotel is ready to serve its guests in whatever way imaginable, whether it’s with modern facilities or exceptional hospitality. During my time at Fairway Sunset, the hotel personnel ensured, that I had a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. The accommodation was elegantly decorated in off-white tones and had a private balcony with sea views.
A gorgeous king-size bed, a walk-in closet, a work desk, a 40-inch LED satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities, telephone, electronic safe, mini-fridge, air conditioning, and 24-hour room service were among the in-room amenities.
Towels, complimentary toiletries, and a rain shower enclosure are all included in the private bathroom. Despite the modern furnishings, tasteful décor, and luxurious bedding, the private balcony is the most sumptuous part of the room. Although the hotel is located directly on the beach, guests can enjoy a stunning view of Cocobay Unawatuna from their room’s private balcony.
The best part of my visit was waking up to these breathtaking views of the ocean. This hotel is very close to the city and the renowned Galle Fort. But, most importantly, the rooms are exceedingly comfy, clean, and well-kept. The ensuite bathrooms are also well-equipped, with fresh towels and other amenities. Dining at the rooftop restaurant was the second-best experience.
During my visit, I had the opportunity of dining at the Scarlett Skyy, the hotel’s rooftop restaurant, offering a great dinner and breakfast. While I was enjoying a delicious supper with panoramic views, the staff was exceedingly kind and even took an interest in discussing my travel blog. I ordered the seafood salad, beef burger, and brownie with ice cream dessert from the à la carte menu.
Each of them cooked to perfection. After the appetiser and main course, I was so full that I had to ask for the dessert to be delivered to my room after 45 minutes. And they enthusiastically accepted the request. After 45 minutes, I received the beautifully prepared dessert.
Positively a 5/5 for time management. Overall, staying here was a fantastic experience. Whether you’re visiting Galle with your family or on your own, you must stay at this sea-view hotel. If I return to Galle, I would love to stay at Fairway Sunset again.
